Nicole is an attorney in the Dallas, Texas, office of Platt Richmond PLLC. Her practice focuses on representing businesses in commercial and employment matters. In addition, Nicole provides preventative advice and counseling to her clients about employment-related issues.
After graduating from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., Nicole returned to her hometown of Fort Worth, Texas, and initially practiced employment law at the Texas Workforce Commission. Since then, Nicole has developed her litigation and employment practice, representing businesses, employers and C-Suite executives in mediation and arbitration, before administrative bodies, including the Texas Department of Insurance, Texas Workforce Commission, and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and in state and federal Court. She has experience prosecuting and defending against various disputes, including those involving employee benefits, breaches of contract, trade secret misappropriation, restrictive covenants, workplace harassment and discrimination, fraudulent transfer, business divorce, and other business and employment disputes.
Nicole also counsels businesses on preventative strategies, related to hiring and firing, employee benefits and agreements, wage and hour, harassment and discrimination, leave policies, executive compensation, employee policies and handbooks, and other issues related to the workplace. Her goal is always to provide employers with advice that draws on best practices in the industry while accounting for the business’ strategic goals and bottom line.
