Frank Hill serves PR’s business and entrepreneurial clients as outside general counsel, coupling his experience as a commercial litigator with over a decade of experience working in small business and entrepreneurial environments. This practical education informs the counsel he gives PR’s clients, and is equally applicable in both adversarial and collaborative settings. It also lends him a unique perspective as to the challenges and rewards encountered by clients setting out on their own, and has taught him to value and cherish personal relationships, a strength he brings to PR’s clients.
Frank represents clients in the construction, energy, entertainment, hospitality, and real estate sectors, and routinely advises concerning commercial and contract disputes, landlord-tenant matters, creditors’ rights issues, commercial transactions, and general business matters. Prior to joining PR, he practiced at a boutique litigation firm where he managed all aspects of a diverse civil litigation docket. Frank also has significant experience representing and advising one of the nation’s largest residential property management firms in a broad array of matters including landlord-tenants disputes, premises liability litigation, and eminent domain and government takings cases. He has also represented individual plaintiffs in a variety of litigation matters and was integral to the successful representation of a plaintiff in a workplace assault and employment discrimination case which resulted in a multi-million dollar settlement. Frank also serves as the Co-Chair on the planning committee for the annual Dallas Bar Association Golf Tournament Benefiting Access to Justice and Entrepreneurs in Community Lawyering.
Outside of work, Frank enjoys spending time in nature, and attained the rank of Eagle Scout as a younger man. He also loves traveling, cooking for his wife and two young children, Fightin’ Texas Aggie football, and all things musical, including writing original songs and composing original music.
