Fareed Kaisani serves entrepreneurs and businesses through his expertise in financial restructuring and corporate law.
Fareed routinely advises clients on a variety of corporate matters including entity formation and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships, private securities offerings, and general commercial contract negotiation.
Fareed’s prior restructuring experience includes the representation of bankrupt debtors, financial institutions, distressed asset purchasers, landlords, trade creditors, equity holders, bankruptcy trustees, and other key stakeholders. He previously served as the Chair of the Dallas Bar Association Bankruptcy & Commercial Law section. Given his broad range of experience in distressed transactions, Fareed seeks to guide clients through special situation matters while protecting their key interests.
Prior to joining Platt Richmond, Fareed gained valuable experience as a judicial clerk to a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, and as an associate at highly regarded AmLaw firms that serve large public and private company clients.
