Alex Jacobs’ practice focuses on commercial and patent litigation and licensing. His experience spans a wide range of industries, including medical devices, oil and natural gas technologies, chemical products, and wireless communications. Alex relies on his science background to understand the needs of clients when faced with protecting their complex technologies.
Alex completed his undergraduate education at Bowling Green State University with a degree in chemistry. He earned his law degree from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. During law school, Alex served as Online Editor for the Ohio State Law Journal, interned with the Ohio State University Technology Commercialization Office, and worked in the Transactional Law Clinic where he advised startup clients on various IP issues. Alex was a summer associate with The Shore Firm before joining the firm after graduation.
