Rogelio Reyes is a seasoned litigator, bringing his Big Law acumen to complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts. In addition to experience gained at an AmLaw 20 firm, Rogelio completed a secondment with the Dallas Cowboys, where he cultivated expertise in the transactional, litigation, and broader legal considerations unique to professional sports organizations, including contract negotiations, compliance issues, and dispute resolution.
Beyond sports law, Rogelio possesses extensive experience navigating international legal landscapes across diverse industries. He has a proven track record of successfully managing complex litigation involving contract disputes, government contracting, internal investigations, and compliance matters, leveraging his proficiency in e-discovery for efficient data management.
As a native Spanish speaker, Rogelio effectively collaborates with Spanish-speaking clients globally. Deeply committed to community service, he volunteers his legal talents to assist Latin American refugees seeking asylum in the United States. He is an active member of the Dallas Bar Association’s Entertainment, Art, and Sports Law Section, the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas Committee on Laws Relating to Immigration and Nationality. Prior to attending the University of Texas School of Law, Rogelio was selected as a Law Fellow for the Sponsors for an Educational Opportunity (“SEO”) Law Fellowship in 2016, a program offering talented students of color the opportunity to work at a top law firm during the summer before law school.
Outside of his legal practice, Rogelio is passionate about the arts and is a graduate of the Business Council for the Arts’ Leadership Arts Institute. An amateur DJ with a monthly residency at an EDM online radio station, he also enjoys spending time with his two cats, one dog, and his wife, a fellow litigator.
